Kayli Merwin

In her debut Pop EP, Tapestry, Kayli shows off her vocal and lyrical prowess by weaving emotion, purpose and celebration into a musical kaleidoscope that will engage listeners of all ages. What started as a dream turned into a passionate pursuit to bring social issues to light through music. “I just want Tapestry to change lives for the better. I've seen and known people who have been hurt and I've watch them heal by kindness of others”. This desire would ignite a dedication to a cause greater than her, helping others tell their stories of overcoming difficult circumstances. This is how Tapestry was born. Music that gives a voice to the voiceless, empowers the powerless, and evokes change in a generation searching for identity.

Based in Arizona, Kayli's talent has provided multiple opportunities including, corporate events, live concerts, and television appearances. Opening with the National Anthem for the Arizona Diamondbacks would provide the launching pad for this young artist. Her calendar quickly became full with performances at conferences, social events and charity functions, which fueled her to write music that would inspire change in the world around her. Pure and controlled, her voice has been captivating audiences for over four years.

Kayli's belief that one voice can make a difference is why the Tapestry EP was written. Songs about unity, love and speaking out against injustice are key components to the message behind the music. “I think it's important to share our stories with each other”, a voice should be given to every child that overcomes adversity or needs help. Tapestry Movement is a platform for children to share their stories while providing resources, opportunity and support for them. “Tapestry is about 3 girls and what they've been through. But I know there is endless more.

My cousin, Dani, is 13 years old. She has spent a lot of years in and out of foster homes and had a lot of struggles. When my aunt and uncle adopted her, she finally had hope and love. I think that by telling others what we go through, it shows that no one is ever alone or not important.”

“Tapestry is something that has never been done before. It will help us to support each other. I'm excited that we have many places on our website that gives us help. I'm so proud to be a part of this amazing movement", says Kayli.
